ABOUT
Discover the beauty of Faringdon and surrounding area from a height. Just a few hundred metres from The Old Crown, you will find Folly Tower. The Tower sits on Folly Hill, within a charming 4 acre, circular woodland of splendid Scots Pine and broadleaf trees, some more than 200 years old.
We can arrange an exclusive trip for our Hotel Guests up the Tower where you can climb the 124 steps to The Belvedere Room, with views over 5 counties. This unique venue adds much interest to your special occasion. As well as stunning views from the top of the Tower.
Leave the occasion with us. We can prepare a terrific breakfast, lunch or dinner to be enjoyed with breathtaking views and company for up to 8 people. From the hotel you can either make the short walk up the hill, or let us drive you there through the fields in our Land Rover Defender.
This does require pre-booking with the hotel team. Please call us prior to your arrival for us to arrange your special day (subject to availability).
Note: The Tower has no lift or toilet facilities. However, we will be at call if you require a lift back to the hotel.
