Do you have parking?

Yes, we have limited parking to the rear of The Crown. Access is the driveway next to Morrisons. Do you cater for all allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes we can cater for all requirements. However, we always strongly recommend booking in advance and letting us know about your needs. The more we know, the more we can prepare in advance for your visit.  Please call 01367 242744.

Are you dog friendly?

Accepted Answer

We are delighted to welcome dogs throughout most areas of The Crown. However, please note that our Ballroom restaurant is not dog-friendly, with the exception of service dogs.

The majority of our hotel rooms are dog-friendly, but prior notification is required before check-in. An additional cleaning fee of £10 applies for the duration of your stay.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and remain under the owner's supervision.

Are you accessible for those with mobility restraints?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer accessible options for guests with mobility restraints, including accessible entrances, ramps, and thoughtfully adapted rooms to ensure comfort and ease of movement. However, as a Grade II listed building with parts dating back to the 15th century, some areas may present challenges, and full accessibility may not be achievable. We recommend contacting us directly to discuss specific needs and ensure we can provide the most suitable accommodation.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in is from 2PM. However, please give us a call if you would like to check-in early (01367 242744).

Check-out for direct bookings is 11am. Bookings through third-party sites, like Booking.com, (Booking.com,)Expedia.com and Hotels.com (Hotels.com)are 10am. Late check-out fee of £20 per hour applies to late check-outs. A late check-out after 12pm will be charged an additional night stay.
